# Requirements

On older PHP, WordPress refuses to install the theme or activate the plugin, so nothing breaks on a site that does not meet them. Your host's control panel or **Tools → Site Health → Info → Server** shows your PHP version.

The theme works without WooCommerce as a blog and pages theme, and without Companion as a complete store; Companion adds the demo import and a few store features.
