# Shape, labels and spacing

Beyond its colours and fonts, a store's look is its shape and its spacing: rounded or square corners, quiet or capital labels, airy or compact pages. LanternWP sets them in its own panel in the editor, beside **Styles**. Colours, fonts, headings and buttons stay in Styles ([Colours and fonts](colours-and-fonts.md)).

1. Go to **Appearance → LanternWP** and, under **Choose colours and fonts**, select **Open the LanternWP panel**. In the editor, the panel also opens from the **LanternWP** button in the top bar.
2. Change what you want. The page in the editor shows each change at once.
3. Select **Save**. Undo takes a change back before you save, and the revisions in **Styles** after.

## What the panel sets

- **Shape**: the corners of fields, of panels and cards, and of images, and whether badges are pill-shaped. Buttons, chips, pagination and the other controls take the radius of the Button block in Styles.
- **Labels**: the eyebrows above headings, table headings and filter titles: their **Font**, **Weight**, **Capital letters** and **Letter spacing**.
- **Product images**: the background behind product photographs, which shows around a photograph that does not fill its frame. A colour the icons and the focus ring on product photographs cannot be read against is not applied, and the panel says why.
- **Product grid**: **Products per row on wide screens**, 4, 5 or 6. Phones and narrow screens show fewer.
- **Spacing**: the **Density** of the store, the space between sections, around the page and between products: **Compact** (as in Kilowatt), **Medium** (as in Voltline) or **Spacious** (as in Common Goods).

Importing a demo sets all of these to the demo's own; change them afterwards the same way. **Reset styles** in Styles takes your changes here away too and comes back to the look your store started with ([Colours and fonts](colours-and-fonts.md#the-look-your-store-started-with)).
