The home page

The home page is made of sections: a hero, promotions, product rows, a story and more, each a pattern of ordinary blocks. Change their text and images, reorder them, remove the ones you do not need, or add more.

Edit it

1. Go to Appearance → Editor and open the home page. Appearance → LanternWP links there from Make the home page yours.
2. Select a section to change its text, images and links. To move a section, select it and use the arrows in its toolbar.
3. To add a section, open the block inserter, choose Patterns and pick one; LanternWP's sections start with "Home:".
4. Select Save.

Start again

Two patterns hold a whole home page: Home page (the editorial home of Common Goods) and Home page for a large catalogue (Kilowatt's, with departments, a banner and a deal of the day). Insert one into an empty page to start from it.

A product row shows your store's best-selling products. Select the row's Product Collection block and choose Choose collection in its toolbar to show new arrivals, a category or products you pick instead.
